How should I wear my makeup for a formal event I have tonight?
my suggestion is that evening makeup is more "kicked up" than day to day makeup, i would stay in the tans and browns, or somewhere in that palatte because it would bring out your eyes, if you do use some green make it very light or else it would be too heavy on your eye, being that you have beautiful eyes, Use a dark brown eyeliner, sheer powder and light on blush, maybe bronzer. Use a shade darker on the gloss or lipcolor than you usually do during the day. I hope all goes well, good luck!

I would suggest brown eyeliner, to go with your hazel eyes. Also, I would put tan (not too light, but so you could see it) on your lids.

Wear some smokey brown eyes with a really light translucent, gold shimmer. It will look really classy and match the green dress nicely. Don't do the eye as thick as in your photo, fan it out and make it look really soft with a Q-tip or your finger.
If you do your eyes really nice, don't focus too much on the lips. You should only do one at a time up big for balance. Use a light gloss with a bit of a color to it. I'd go for a mauve-ish color to look really nice with your dress (basically the natural color of your lip with a little shine).
As for the hair, maybe use some gel and twist some very small curls around your finger for a little bit of a dressier look. You don't have to do much for your hair but wear a really pretty dangling earing that will bring some attention to you. With really short hair it's hard to dress it up sometimes but it will frame some really great earings nicely.

i think that less is better. i like the way ur cheeks look, u should put that, and you can put a light almost imbisible eye shadow, no eye liner, and a glossy looking lipstick. for ur hair just the way it is, and if ur going to wear jewelry, wear only one piece, for examp: earings only, or necklace no earings and a bracelet, or earings and rings.
good luck.

You have beautiful fair skin and cheek bones. For blush, I would suggest lighter pink right on them. Also, for eye shadow wear grey, white, or black shimmer. (not too thick) And for lips, either wear brighter pink or the same pink as blush.
Hope that helps!
