Pictures plz.. i need help on 2 subjects..!!!?

1. I have long hair and bangs and i need a pretty way to do my hair for winter formal...i dont want to wear it just straight down because my hair is naturally straight.. and i could curl it but i do that alot.. i would be soo apreciative if you could include pics.. because im a visual person....

2. After winter formal... maybe before..who knows, im planning to cut my hair anywhere from a tad below my shoulder to a lil bit above... i would appreciate ideas.. and pictures so i can take it in to get it cut.... nothing in mind particularly just looking for a change.....
