I am very short 4'11.I am 123 lbs and I want to seem alittle thinner and taller if thats possible.I have brown hair and brown eyes.I am dark complected but not to dark.

One thing that I've read and observed is that people look taller when they wear the same color from head to toe. Since this is a Christmas dinner party with the bosses, I would suggest a very nice tailored suit but not in black. Make sure your suit is fitted, not too tight, not too loose. Too many people try to conceal their size with baggy clothes which ends up having the opposite effect. Since you have a dark complexion, I think a wine/burgundy color would look nice or if you're feeling bold I would definitely suggest cream. Cream is the perfect holiday/winter color and it gives the statement that you aren't afraid to be noticed or looked at. And don't forget to accessorize. Accessories can make or break your outfit. If you wear cream, make sure you wear natural colors for your make-up. If you choose wine, be bold with your make-up and choose to accent either your eyes or your lips, not both. the answer is the classic black dress. do not make it too revealin(low cut, short) because it will reflect negatively on your husband. make sure that it is something you would wear to your own formal party in front of your own bosses.

a nice pair of black pants and black shoes and a nice sweeter or blouse.. you should wear hills.. whether it be boots with hill or high heel shoes.

I would go with a little black skirt about mid thigh, so you can sit down with a nice holiday sweater and some tan stockings and 4" black pumps maybe add gold anklet.
